Any home service contractors using a CRM?
Let's talk CRM software for home service contractors. Plenty of options are out there — Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, Salesforce, and more — with wildly different price tags to match. Salesforce, for instance, can run into serious enterprise-level costs, while newer "vibe coded" alternatives (essentially AI-built custom tools) can deliver similar functionality for a fraction of the price, sometimes as low as $50 a month.
But cost aside, the bigger question is about features. CRMs used to have a simple job: track a project from estimate to completion so you always knew where things stood. Now they've expanded into email automation, text messaging, website building, and seemingly everything in between — to the point where it can feel more chaotic than helpful. So, curious to hear from other contractors: are you using all the extra bells and whistles your CRM offers, or do you stick to the basics and just track your jobs? Let me know what tool you're using and how you feel about it.
